About Us

Hello from beautiful Cape Cod! Cape Cod Winery is located in the bustling town of Falmouth, MA (far southwest corner of Cape Cod). Falmouth boasts over 68 miles of shoreline dotted with white sand beaches, eight quaint villages and the Shining Sea Bikepath, inspired by “America the Beautiful,” written by Falmouth’s very own Katherine Lee Bates. Falmouth is a historical and iconic town that we are grateful to call home.

A Rich Agricultural History

Less than three miles from the ocean, our winery is on Oxbow Road in the neighborhood of East Falmouth. This area was once home to some of the most successful commercial strawberry and cranberry bog operations during the 20th century; the agricultural legacy is carried on by dozens of local farms, including our very own vineyard. The land we have chosen for our winery was one of the very first strawberry farms in the area during the early 1900s, later changing to a potato & dairy farm. It has a rich agricultural history which we are proud to carry on. Just off of Route 28, we feel we have created a little oasis right here in Falmouth and invite you to visit us.

A Small Family Run Business

Cape Cod Winery is a small family run business. Pete & Erika Orlandella purchased the winery in 2013 which they then relocated a few miles down the road to its current address of Oxbow Road in 2014. You will often be greeted by them personally and find them working the wine tastings, in the fields, or working on a new project that they will gladly show you (and sometimes even ask for your help!). Their children (Joe, Pete Jr. & Olivia) and extended family also help during the summer months, working the wine tastings & gift shop.

We welcome you to become part of our “family” and join us for a wine flight or glass of wine (check here for hours) and be sure to check our event calendar for information on our live music concert series, vino & vinyasa yoga & much more!

Cheers,
The Orlandella Family
